Dumpster

A privately contracted service, shared by membership.

Waste Management dumpster access is a membership subscription based on available room — not a county service. Joe Branco is our diligent negotiator for the collection of dumpsters.

The agreement

What can and can't go in the dumpster.

Our agreement with Waste Management is a non-hazardous waste service agreement, which prohibits disposal of tires, oil, volatile, corrosive, flammable, explosive, computer monitors, biomedical, or bio-hazardous materials. Also prohibited: construction debris and furniture, which can be disposed of at the dump outside of Payson. Disposal of any of these may cause an extra service fee — their trucks have cameras that image what's dumped into them, and we have cameras around the dumpsters.
Community guidelines

Simple rules that keep it working for everyone.

  1. Household trash only
  2. Break down large boxes

Please — it makes room for the next neighbor.

  3. Pick up anything that falls to the ground
  4. No green waste

Needles, leaves, trimmings — please use the brush pit or the dump instead.

  5. Dumpsters are emptied every Thursday morning
  6. Have an excess amount of trash?

Please wait until Wednesday night after 5 P.M. — if there's room then, fill it up!

Everyone has been made aware of these guidelines, but in the past year there have been a few instances of neighbors not following them. The dumpsters are a convenience for all of us — thank you in advance for being considerate of the neighbors who use this service too.
